The Wednesday Market: Ordering is Open; Place Orders for Easter Baked Goods
Good afternoon.
The Wednesday Market is open for orders. Please place your order by 10 p.m. Monday. Orders are ready for pick up between 2 and 4 p.m. Wednesday. Check the website for this week’s product offerings. Here is the link: https://wednesdaymarket.locallygrown.net/market
Can you believe that tomorrow is Palm Sunday? That means Easter is only one week away! If anyone would like special baked items for Easter, please let Nelda Miller of Miller-Pye Farm know. She is happy to make arrangements with you to deliver your order closer to Easter so that the goodies are as fresh as possible.
Will we have peaches this summer? I sure hope so! Perhaps the danger of freezing temperatures has passed.
Thank you for for supporting Georgia Grown. We’ll see you at the Market.
Thanks,
Beverly
P.S. If you have questions about your order, please contact Nelda. She is available by text, email, or phone call.

Martin's Farmstand: Weblog Entry
The farm stand is open today (Saturday March 23,2024) from noon till 5 pm. Even though it is winter outside the farmstand still has carrots, beets, onions, bulk foods, and much more. We still have about 3,000 lbs of potatoes (red, white, yellow) left in storage. There are also spring dug parsnips available and a few apples.
Next weekend we will be open on Friday, March 29th from noon till 5 pm and closed on Saturday march 30th for Easter weekend. This change is only for that one week. During April we will be open on the normal Saturday schedule with summer hours resuming in early May whenever asparagus harvest starts. Enjoy this last bit of winter. However I am even more ready to enjoy spring when it comes. I like to plant things and smell the warming earth of springtime. Daniel

Thank you for choosing Northeast Georgia Locally Grown as a way to support your local producers. This online farmers market allows you to buy directly from multiple farms committed to chemical-free and local produce all year long! CHEMICAL-FREE means produce and pastures grown without synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides. LOCAL means within 80 miles from the market pickup locations (usually much much closer). Do you know someone who grows chemical-free food in the area? Get them in touch with us. Know someone who wants fresh food? Spread the word. Put the two together, and that’s growing organically!
PICKUP TIME is Wednesday from 5-6:30 p.m. in Clayton, Clarkesville, or Gainesville.
If you do not get an email ORDER CONFIRMATION after you finish the checkout process, then your order is NOT complete. Head back to the market page, and your order might still be there waiting for you to check out! If you have any trouble or questions at all, we are here to help; simply reply to this email.
Once you place an order, be on the lookout for the order reminder email on Wednesday with further pickup and payment notes. Thanks for your support!
